Garden clearance in Salam, Riyadh

Salam district in east Riyadh within Al Nusaim municipality borders gardens and green spaces between residential units. The district is relatively modern with service centres, but large trees in the adjacent public parks dump leaf loads onto private gardens with real density.

Why a garden needs regular attention

  • A tidy first impression

The first thing a guest sees is the entrance and the garden, not the inside of the house.

  • Fewer pests near the house

Piles of damp leaves and cuttings draw mosquitoes, flies and rodents, especially near the irrigation lines.

  • Protecting the irrigation

Riyadh's fine dust slowly blocks drip emitters, and plants die back for no visible reason.

  • Saving your time and effort

Heavy palm fronds and hauling waste need equipment and a transport vehicle, not just a bin bag.

Why the job is different in Salam

Green spaces here are well planned but fallen leaves from the large trees make clearing a regular necessity, especially heavy during autumn months. The whole method is set out in the garden clearance overview.

  • Large public parks with established mature trees

Al Areej Park and the large Al Salam Parks sit beside the main district, and the substantial trees there dump millions of leaves onto private gardens and public passages.

  • Modern design and open connected spaces

The district is relatively new and gardens are open and interconnected, so leaves do not collect in one spot but scatter across all the open areas.

  • Service centres and heavy foot traffic

The Civil Defence station and medical centre are very close; activity around these facilities is very heavy and generates extra dust and debris.

What's Included

The district sits between Al Areej Park and the larger Al Salam Parks, where sizeable established trees occupy central positions in the neighbourhood design.

  • Debris and leaf litter collected

Leaves from large public parks enter the private space with real density; open design means they scatter across all open areas.

  • Hedges and edges trimmed

Trees and shrubs here are varied and some are recently planted; trimming is minimal and very careful with young branches.

  • Paths and paving cleaned

Paving in passages is relatively new but black leaf staining appears quickly from the heavy external load.

  • Visible irrigation checked

Visible irrigation pipes are modern but may clog from leaves and small debris; we inspect them regularly.

  • Garden furniture and seating

Furniture and seating here is relatively new; we clean gently and attend to detail.

  • Waste hauled away

Debris collects in large bags and is hauled from a designated collection point with neighbourhood administration.

What is different about Central Riyadh

Central Riyadh is the oldest and busiest part of the city. Olaya and Sulaimaniyah carry the office towers along King Fahd Road and Tahlia Street, including Kingdom Centre and Al Faisaliah, while Al Malaz, Al Murabba, Al Batha and Al Dirah are older apartment blocks with shops on the ground floor, the Masmak quarter and the markets around Qasr Al Hukm. Heavy traffic on the main roads coats glass and shopfronts in a grey exhaust film, older stairwells and tiled corridors show worn grout and scale from the hard water, and the commercial buildings never stop taking footfall.

Questions before booking

Leaves from Al Salam and Al Areej Parks flood our garden. How often should we clear?

Leaf loads from the large public parks are very dense. In autumn we recommend weekly clearing or at least every ten days.

Black staining on the paving. Where does it come from?

The blackening is from decomposing leaves, bacteria and dust. Al Salam Park is very large indeed, meaning a heavy load of leaves and moisture on the neighbourhood.

Our small garden seems adequate but do we need intensive care?

The small garden is fine but the external leaf load is heavy. Regular clearing is necessary because leaves blow in constantly from the street.

My plants look weak even though I water them. What is the cause?

Plants may be covered by leaves and dust that block sun and air. Clearing lets the plant breathe and improves its health noticeably.

Is it safe to clear the garden with the medical centre so very close?

Yes, clearing is completely safe. We coordinate with you on quiet times and cause no disturbance to the medical facilities.

Pathways collect leaves and street debris. How do you clean them?

Open passages between units need regular clearing. We remove leaves and debris carefully to avoid damaging young plants.
