Why is the water slightly yellowed even on calm days with no wind?
Borehole water here is naturally very hard and carries dissolved lime. Fine mineral particles remain suspended in the water continuously. Regular filtration and cleaning reduce the problem but cannot eliminate it as long as borehole water is used for refilling.

The filter clogs faster here than elsewhere, why is this?

Would a better filter help control the scale and cloudiness?

In summer when westerly winds are strong, does the pool need weekly cleaning?
Yes. During strong wind seasons, exposed pools may need weekly cleaning or even more often if winds are particularly intense. Calm periods allow wider intervals between service visits.

Some villas use desalinated water, does this solve the scale problem?
Yes, significantly. Soft desalinated water carries far less lime, and scale deposits drop markedly. Some homes blend soft and borehole water to dilute the mineral load when deposits become stubborn.

Dust settles on garden furniture and surrounding surfaces too, do you clean those?
