Questions before booking

The leak starts every winter and vanishes in summer. Is that normal?
Yes, this is a typical seasonal pattern here. Groundwater rises in winter and increases pressure on the tank, old patches open under that pressure, then appear stable in summer when water recedes. Full waterproofing breaks the cycle.

Does wadi humidity slow the drying time of the waterproofing coating?
Yes, ambient moisture may extend drying times. We may need longer intervals between coats to ensure each layer is completely dry before the next is applied.

White mineral deposits cover the tank outside. Do they disappear after sealing?
Surface deposits are cleaned before waterproofing is applied. Once sealed, water carrying new minerals cannot enter from outside, so further deposits do not accumulate.

Should we drain the groundwater before sealing the tank?
No, that cannot be done because groundwater seeps back. What matters is that the tank itself is completely empty and dry before coating is applied.

Al Mahdiyah is near Tuwaiq. Does limestone dust get into the tank?
Dust may settle on the outer surface, but it does not enter the tank unless cracks allow it. Waterproofing protects against dust entering through hairline openings.

After the tank is sealed, will garden wall damp disappear?
If damp came from the leaking tank, yes it will stop. If it comes from garden watering or groundwater seepage, it will remain and needs separate treatment.
