  • Ongoing construction shakes tanks and pipes nearby

    Active building work around the district vibrates newly installed tanks. Hairline cracks may form from vibration before the concrete has gained full strength. Waterproofing here protects the tank during the critical curing period.

  • Incomplete infrastructure means higher seasonal water pressure

    The plan is incomplete and drainage infrastructure is not fully finished. Rainwater and irrigation may not drain quickly enough, raising groundwater levels. Water pressure from beneath tanks is higher than in established districts.

What is different about South Riyadh
