Raghwat Al Janoub Maintenance and Cleaning
Yacht cleaning in Al Dubiyah, Riyadh
Al Dubiyah is a small residential quarter in south-central Riyadh, part of the old historic Al Dahu cluster, with mid-rise apartment buildings and small flats plus scattered shops. Nearby main roads carry traffic that releases exhaust settling on the deck and fittings. Hard water leaves white scale on old stone and glass. Al Salam Park nearby provides some ventilation but the air remains crowded.
Why a yacht needs regular cleaning
-

Stop salt before it pits
Salt residue attacks plated steel and aluminium if it sits for weeks, and the first sign is a small pit that will not polish out afterwards.
-

A smell that stays gone
Damp and salt sit inside the seat padding, and wiping the surface masks the odour for a day before it comes back.
-

Products that spare the finish
Harsh cleaners strip gelcoat and marine paint, leaving the colour faded and blotchy.
-

Ready whenever you sail
A boat cleaned on a schedule stays ready for guests and for the water with no surprises.
Why the job is different in Al Dubiyah
Streets around the park have slightly better air movement but main roads still carry exhaust that settles on the deck and mixes with salt and moisture. The whole method is set out in the details of our yacht cleaning service.
-
Main roads and accumulated exhaust layer
Nearby main roads carry heavy traffic and exhaust settles on every exposed surface. Even near the park, exhaust from distant roads reaches the boat. This exhaust mixes with salt and enters the cabin and seating. Only deep cleaning removes this mixture from the fabric.
-
Al Salam Park moisture and tree humidity
Al Salam Park nearby provides some shade and ventilation, but trees and watering increase the moisture in the air. Upholstery absorbs this damp easily and creates deep embedded smell. Deep cleaning matched to the fabric and regular ventilation together are both necessary.
-
Hard water and deposits on old stone
Water is very hard and leaves white deposits on old stone and glass. Deposits build up fast and need regular cleaning to prevent them becoming permanent. Small cracks trap deposits and salt together and are difficult to reach.
What's Included
A small residential quarter within the old historic Al Dahu cluster, with mid-rise apartment blocks and small flats and scattered shops. Close to main roads with heavy traffic. Al Salam Park provides some relief from the crowded air but nearby roads still release exhaust.
-
Deck wash with marine-safe products
Exhaust from main roads settles on the deck even near the park and needs specialist products that remove it without marking finishes.
-
Salt removed from metalwork
Metalwork is affected by park moisture, exhaust and salt together: regular cleaning and protective treatment are necessary.
-
Cabin upholstery and seating
Upholstery and seating absorb park moisture and exhaust from the roads: deep cleaning pulls the embedded smell back out of the fabric.
-
Galley and head
The galley and head with hard water may accumulate deposits: regular inspection prevents hidden build-up in pipes.
-
Glass and portholes
Glass is affected by white deposits and exhaust: consistent cleaning prevents permanent marks on portholes.
-
Bilge and drainage check
The bilge and drains may collect moisture and deposits from the park: regular inspection is necessary to prevent problems.
Landmarks of Al Dubiyah
Al Salam Park and the mosque of Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim mark the boundaries of Al Dubiyah: the park serves as a reference point to locate the boat mooring and access it via the surrounding streets.

What is different about Central Riyadh
Central Riyadh is the oldest and busiest part of the city. Olaya and Sulaimaniyah carry the office towers along King Fahd Road and Tahlia Street, including Kingdom Centre and Al Faisaliah, while Al Malaz, Al Murabba, Al Batha and Al Dirah are older apartment blocks with shops on the ground floor, the Masmak quarter and the markets around Qasr Al Hukm. Heavy traffic on the main roads coats glass and shopfronts in a grey exhaust film, older stairwells and tiled corridors show worn grout and scale from the hard water, and the commercial buildings never stop taking footfall.
